What can a TPI golf fitness professional do for you?


Sherry Locke conducts a TPI golf screen for golfers of all ages and skill levels then designs a golf-specific fitness program to address weaknesses and improve overall strength and flexibility as it pertains to an effective golf swing as well as provide insight as to golf characteristics that could be causing or will eventually cause injury.

The TPI Golf Screen includes assessments of the following:

  • Setup Posture
  • Pelvic Tilt
  • Pelvic Rotation
  • Torso Rotation
  • Overhead Deep Squat
  • Toe Touch
  • 90/90 (shoulder rotation)
  • Single Leg Balance
  • Lat Test
  • Lower Quarter Rotation
  • Seated Trunk Rotation
  • Bridge with Leg Extension
  • Cervical Rotation
  • Forearm Rotation
  • Wrist Hinge
  • Wrist Flexion/Extension

Measurements are entered into the TPI app.  The results are graded with a green, yellow or red checkmark.  Any screen indicated with a yellow or red checkmark is sent to the participant with the results and an explanation of those results as determined by Titleist Performance Institute.  I’ve performed this screen on novice to experienced golfers as well as golf pros.  So far, they’ve all been impressed with the applicability of the TPI golf screen to their golf swing characteristics.
