nutritional plan is designed around your favorite foods - not supplements.
You'll
learn how eating frequently, mixing carbs and protein
at each meal and drinking plenty of water is crucial to increasing
your metabolism. Your personal trainer will help you design your
meals so that you're getting the appropriate amount of calories and
nutrients conducive
to weight management. You'll avoid food cravings, tendencies to overeat
and mood swings. Learn how to increase your metabolism and energy levels!
No
one at LOCKE'S Personal Fitness will ever try to sell you supplements
or suggest you
purchase them anywhere else.
If you
feel that you are lacking in a particular nutrient or would like
to have a detailed meal plan designed
for you, we will be happy to put you in touch with a registered dietitian.
Professional and ethical trainers know that it is beyond their scope
of expertise for a personal trainer to put clients on diets or suggest
they begin taking supplements. It is considered "unethical",
by respectable certifying organizations, for a personal trainer to
sell or endorse any dietary supplements.

By answering a
short questionnaire and logging a 24-hour food intake recall, we can
get an idea of your current eating habits. Most clients come to us not
knowing that they are consuming too many or too few nutrients. Calories
are only part of a healthy nutritional plan. We want to help you balance
your diet so that you can enjoy a healthy life with a reduced risk of
many preventable diseases.
If
you’d like a more detailed meal plan, any many people do, you
are encouraged to consult with our dietician. She will tell you exactly
what to eat and when – if that’s what you need.
